- Shiny odds at a 40 chain (with Hypermode) are 1/200. For non-Hypermode users, chains will max at 39, or 1/400.
- The Gold Amulet is a 1.25x modifier, bringing Hypermode odds to 1/160, or for non-Hypermode users, 1/320.
- Shiny Charm is a 2.5x modifier to Shiny odds.
- Sei Power's impact on Shiny odds can be calculated as odds = 1/(sqrt(X) * sqrt(50-S)), where X is your initial Shiny odds and S is Sei power. It can range from 5 to 25 on Sei days. (Source)
- PotD (Pokémon of the Day) increases Shiny odds by 10%.
- When maximizing all these factors, the best Shiny odds are 1/40, or 1/39 with PoTD.
Albino Odds
- Albino odds at level 7 (full charge) are 1/180.
- A Z-Crystal is a 1.5x modifier to Albino odds.
- The Silver Amulet is a 4/3x (~1.33x) modifier to Albino odds.
- Type Race Albino boost is a 1.2x modifier to Albino odds. (Source)
- This means the best Albino odds are 1/90, or 1/75 during Type Race.
Melanistic Odds
- Since a Melanistic Pokemon occurs when a Pokemon is both Albino and Shiny, we can conclude that Melanistic odds are equal to Shiny odds * Albino odds.
- The Übercharm is a 6x modifier to Melanistic odds.
- The Cobalt Amulet provides a maximum 75% Melanistic odds bonus to Arceus+ rank users at 5000 eggs. It provides an additive 1.5% per 100 eggs hatched.
- Due to rounding up at each calculation, order-specific quirks, and Melanistic multipliers being applied to Albino odds, true best Melan odds are 1/320 or 1/312 with PoTD.
